Significant cases
FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber
Outstanding player remuneration
Players Martin Fillo, Gigli Ndefe, Jakub Považanec, Patrik Le Giang, Tomáš Čelůstka and Matěj Hanousek, and coaches Dušan Uhrin and Jozef Valachovič. In recent years we have assisted all of them in disputes with their clubs, and in every case the outcome was payment of the sums owed under their contracts.
CAS, Lausanne
Disputes of players and coaches with clubs
Repeated success in appeal arbitration proceedings — representation of footballers Patrik Vajda, Martin Hašek and Michal Jeřábek in disputes over unilateral termination of contract, and the case of coach Ivan Hašek with successful recovery of the sums owed.
Arbitration Panel of the Czech FA
Arbitration between players and clubs
Dozens of disputes between Czech players and their clubs, most often over unpaid remuneration followed by unilateral termination of contract and compensation. In the case of Tomáš Wágner we succeeded in a dispute over the invalidity of a non-compete clause in a termination agreement, and Filip Zorvan was successfully represented in proceedings against his former agent.
FIFA & FIFPRO Fund
Support for players whose clubs went bankrupt
Several players whose clubs failed, for financial reasons, to meet the obligations arising from decisions of the competent bodies recovered their money with our help from the fund supporting footballers from clubs that went bankrupt. The players of FK Senica are one example.
International proceedings
Cases often contain a cross-border element. Thanks to contacts abroad and cooperation with attorneys in Switzerland, Spain and the United Kingdom, we provide services at international level across all areas, not only in sport.
We communicate in Czech, English, German, Dutch, Spanish and French.
